| Not a great chase, but then again what was I expecting in November? Point A (See map above) was my first target. I figured after 60 minutes of driving I'd be closer to the action and be able to decide where to go next. At position A there is a good north/south road. I figured I would be heading north, based on forecast models, so I didn't want to go too far south-west into greater Louisville and not have a good road north except through downtown Louisville.
Point B (See map above) turned out to be where the first supercell of the day was going to cross my area of interest. I parked about 30 minutes ahead of the storm, after driving 90 minutes north from point A, with good south and east road options but wouldn't you know it….it goes north of my position and drops two tornados. (see Red dot on map) Figures! It was already almost dark so there was no point to reposition further north. I just decided to head home. Technically a bust…but any day not in the office is a good day. While talking with the Ripley county net controll I learned that Decator has a spotter network (the county where I position at Point B). I switched over to them when I got into their county and checked into their net. I'll have to program them into my radio. Sounded like they had 3 spotters out on the tornado. |

| It's off towards Louisville, KY as the first decision point for where to go later in the day. | |
| Gotta cross the Ohio river when you go from Kentucky to Indiana. That's why you have to be careful to be near a North/South road with a bridge when the action starts. | |
| Hey! I think I've seen that McDonalds before! | |
| Total lack of action! Man this bites | |
