Sierra created a little fairy garden for her part of the garden. I have to say it’s pretty cute. I’ve spent the last 2 days trying to convince her that fairies are real. No luck.
While she was building the fairy garden I was around on the side of the house building the grape trellis. Next post will be a walk-thru of the grape trellis system. No idea if I’m doing it right. A bit of google research and I came up with my own plan. I still need to go find a book on how to prune/train grapes. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
Oh yeah…cold frame was taken to a new home by a reader of this blog. Also some bad news for the garden….no bees this year. The bee keeper contacted me to tell me he lost half his hives and won’t have one to put on our property. A quick check with several other keepers in the area and none have a hive looking for a home.
